The Story Behind "Paw in the Paint"
This is a painting of Salvador as a kitten. His birth in my art studio was the inspiration for my company - hence the name Salvador Kitti. He actually did put his paw in the paint (many times!) He still paints today but uses acrylic paint rather than oil. I can't tell you how difficult it is to get oil paint out of fur. As a kitten, he seemed to know where he was and thus took on the persona of an artist; he is moody and temperamental. The rest is history!
